About the song

Melanie, a high-achieving college freshman, has been doing her best to help her BFF, Logan, navigate his new life now that he is out of the closet. However, after a particularly embarrassing fiasco at a gay club, Logan asks for some time apart. Crushed, Melanie tries to convince Logan—and herself—that this is all, in fact, for the best.
