Lyrics by Jimmy McNicholas. ELEVEN is a 10-minute movie musical produced at RIPFEST #8 and screened in New York and Los Angeles in 2006. The film was written, rehearsed, shot, and edited in 16 days and starred Jeff Blumenkrantz, John Bolton, Jenna Robinson, Natalie Toro and The Radio City Rockettes. Directed by Jim Krueger and edited by Stefanie Dworkin, ELEVEN features a screenplay by Rachel Axler, music by Brad Alexander, lyrics by Jimmy McNicholas, and choreography by DJ Salisbury. RIPFEST distributed a limited-release DVD but the film can be viewed in its entirety at www.bradalexander.com.
ELEVEN is the story of bowling-shoe clerk Todd, who's smitten with Bowl-A-Rama regular Linda but can't summon the nerve to approach her due to his ghastly eleventh toe. Inspired by an ad in the local paper claiming to be "The Last Resort", Todd decides to finally do something about his cursed extra digit. He must win Linda's heart... but what is he willing to lose?

Brad Alexander is a New York-based BMI songwriter and the composer of SEE ROCK CITY & OTHER DESTINATIONS, winner of the 2011 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book, nominated for six Drama Desk nominations including Outstanding Music, and recipient of the Richard Rodgers Award from The American Academy of Arts and Letters and the BMI Foundation Jerry Bock Award. Brad wrote the music and orchestrations for Theatreworks USA’s CLICK, CLACK, MOO (Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award nominee), and the music for JUST SO STORIES and MARTHA SPEAKS, now on national tour. He contributed songs to DUCK FOR PRESIDENT, IF YOU GIVE A PANCAKE, and WE THE PEOPLE: AMERICA ROCKS! (Lortel Award nominee).
Upcoming projects include BREAD & ROSES with lyrics and book by Jill Abramovitz, and an album of original songs. Brad’s music has been featured on Sony Records, Select Records, Showtime’s THE L WORD, and VH1's "Celebreality" campaign. He is a member of The BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, Songwriters Hall of Fame, National Alliance for Musical Theatre and The Dramatists Guild of America.
