'Fixing' is a song for as few as 4 or as many singers as you want. It deals with the struggles of being human, and asks the listener / loved ones to just be there for you when you need it. It can be used as an effective opener or closer to a revue / cabaret / concert, especially one dealing with issues of loss, love and/or mental illness.

I'm a composer / lyricist / director / teacher / performer based out of Evanston, IL.

I've been teaching for 18 years, writing music and musicals for 15, and playing piano and singing my whole life.

I founded and direct etc. Music School in Evanston, IL., and my works for vocal ensemble, cabaret and musical theatre premiered there have been performed nationally and internationally.

As of August 2018, I have written 38 musicals, including over 400 songs, and hundreds more selections for choir / small vocal ensemble.
